You are not Falling Apart

You're running a system that was never designed for you.

You became who your family needed before you ever figured out who you were.

I help women who have spent decades being who others needed them to be and are quietly beginning to wonder who they actually are.

Most therapy helps you process how you feel.
Oak & River helps you understand why you keep feeling this way, shows you the operating system that’s been running without your consent, and helps you build something that finally belongs to you.

This is how it often shows up

The chronic over-functioner

You handle everything

for everyone. You're competent, reliable, indispensable. But you

can't remember the last time someone took care of you.

22222.png

The high-achiever running on empty

You've built the career,

the life, the résumé. But underneath, there's a persistent sense that something's missing  and you're not sure what.

33333.png

The emotionally self-sufficient one

You figured out early that relying on others was risky. Now you're great at being strong. And exhausted by it.

The identity in transition

Your last child left. Your marriage shifted. Your mother got sick. Your body is changing in ways you can't ignore. Something cracked the version of you that's been working and now you don't know who you are outside of who you've been.

The people-pleaser waking up

You've spent years making things easier for everyone else. You're starting to realize you've been making yourself smaller and you're done.

The one who's ready

You don't have a dramatic crisis. You just know something isn't working and you're finally ready to actually look at it.

You don't have to keep carrying this the same way.

Therapy that actually moves something.

Oak & River offer focused, insight-driven individual therapy for people who are functioning well on the outside and quietly depleted on the inside. This isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about finally understanding what's been running underneath.
